We slept in this morning. I set my alarm for 9am because we wanted to sleep in but not waste the day. Apparently my body wasn't ready at 9am because I turned my alarm off in my sleep and woke up at 10am! No big whoop, felt great to sleep that late!
We just kind of lounged most of the day. Superman really needed to just veg after working last weekend, it was like he worked 2 weeks without a break. We popped a movie in and just relaxed. Superman ended up napping through most of it and I did too for about 45 seconds. Literally. For some reason, Little Dude feels the need to either repeat lines from a movie or say something about each scene. Every.Movie. So I dozed off and approximately 45 seconds later woke up to Little Dude standing right in front of me repeating something from the movie. So I laid there for another 30-45 minutes trying my hardest to doze back off and just couldn't.
After that we got up and headed out. Superman's birthday is Tuesday but we like to do birthday weekends instead! He got his presents last night, he'll get his birthday apple pie on Tuesday and tonight we took him out to Buffalo Wild Wings! YUM. We had a great time playing trivia and had some yummy food!
And here we are, full bellies and watching Little Dude's movie choice; Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark. (He must be tired because he's not talking as much through this one!)
